Gioia House Mission

Action Girls

We encourage all our Gioia House students to be girls of action in all aspects of their lives. We provide the students with opportunities to learn about building positive and respectful relationships, develop their social and emotional skills and find opportunities to make a difference beyond the classroom.

Throughout the year, we recognise and celebrate Action Girl qualities at our Gioia House gatherings. The students receive a Pastoral Award for attributes such as showing kindness, being inclusive, displaying a positive mindset in all aspects of school life and their acts of service.

Through our strong Action Girl pastoral framework, we instil confidence and self-worth to ensure our students are inspired, empowered young women who respect themselves and others, work collaboratively and are active members of the Gioia House community. We value our pastoral and wellbeing programs which provide students with opportunities to focus on developing their emotional regulation, self-awareness and create a strong sense of wellbeing.
