We offer co-education on our P-4 Del Monte Campus and girls only on our  5-12 Santa Sabina Campus. Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus.

2024 HSIE Teacher – Stage 4/5 (Two roles) – LSL and Parental Leave cover

Santa Sabina is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to join the College as  Stage 4/5 HSIE Teachers. Fourth Year University students will be considered and we are willing to oversee final year internships and practicums as part of employment for the right candidate.

  • Temporary full-time/part-time (LSL) Term 2 (29 April 2024 – 28 June 2024) Mandatory (Junior) Geography
  • Temporary full-time/part-time(parental leave) from Term 2, Week 7 onwards (12 month appointment) – Mandatory (Junior) History 

The successful candidate will:

  • support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
  • demonstrate an understanding of curriculum requirements for NESA Stage 4/5 Geography and History
  • be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy
  • be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams 
  • contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of HSIE programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 7-12

Experience and/or understanding of the IB Diploma and NESA Stage 6 HSIE subjects is advantageous.

Sports
Coaches

We are seeking enthusiastic sports coaches for our sports program throughout the year. Coaches are responsible for the coaching and supervision of students as part of the sports programs at Santa Sabina College, supporting the Director of Sports and Co-curricular Activities in the coaching and skill development of students.

Outdoor Education Instructors

We are seeking Cert III/Cert IV qualified outdoor education instructors to work at our Tallong Campus in the NSW Southern Highlands. Tallong programs are primarily centre-based with overnight hikes/campouts conducted entirely on the 97-hectare site.
