Personal Assistant to the Director of Business Services

Santa Sabina College is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to support the Director of Business Services.

The Personal Assistant to Director of Business Services undertakes a variety of finance and administrative tasks in the Business Office and is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the Business Office are coordinated and supported, and to provide an excellent standard of administrative support to the Director of Business Services, the Board and its sub committees.  This is achieved by proactive and well executed administrative, operational and logistical support, providing timely and accurate document production, correspondence, minute taking, diary management and customer service to staff, parents and the wider college community.

It requires a high level of professionalism, confidence, presentation and a calm, positive attitude under pressure as well as the ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality in all circumstances.

Commencement date: To be negotiated.

The successful candidate will:

  • support and commit to the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College 
  • manage competing priorities and meet pressing deadlines
  • have meticulous attention to detail
  • possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • have a high level of initiative and strong problem-solving skills
  • demonstrate high level skills and experience in a variety of computer programs and online systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Google applications and databases
  • demonstrate experience in financial administration including spreadsheeting and collation of data
  • have experience in minute taking and organisation of meetings
  • possess strong administration skills including record keeping, digital diary management, correspondence and filing
  • be able to take direction and work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance  for paid employment
  • be compliant with NSW Department of Health Screening and Immunisation Policy

Role Description – Personal Assistant to Director of Business Services 2022

Sports Coaches – ongoing

Santa Sabina College is seeking enthusiastic sports coaches for our sports program throughout the year.

Coaches are responsible for the coaching and supervision of students as part of the sports programs at Santa Sabina College, supporting the Director of Sports and Co-curricular Activities in the coaching and skill development of students. The sports program incorporates four key components: Saturday/midweek competitions, school sports clubs, representative sport and College sports carnivals. The sports coach will work in a team and report to the relevant Sports Department Administrator.

Outdoor Education Instructors – Tallong Campus – ongoing

Santa Sabina College Tallong Campus is seeking Cert III / Cert IV qualified outdoor education instructors for upcoming programs. The Tallong Campus is the Outdoor Education and Retreat Centre for Santa Sabina College Sydney. The programs that are run from Tallong are primarily centre based with overnight hikes / campouts which are run entirely on the schools 97 hectare site.
