Religious Education Coordinator (P-6)

The College is seeking an experienced, passionate and faith-filled professional to lead the Primary Religious Education Curriculum and Mission at the College. This is a 2 point leadership position with release time and pay.

Permanent full-time

Commencement date : 23 January 2023

The successful candidate will:

  • support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
  • demonstrate outstanding leadership skills including the ability to mentor, guide and advise staff and students
  • demonstrates expert understanding of curriculum requirements for the Archdiocese of Sydney’s Primary Religious Curriculum
  • be a strategic and collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams 
  • be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy
  • lead the development, implementation and evaluation of Primary Religious Education policies and programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across P-6.

Role Description – Religious Education Coordinator (P-6)

The College is seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join a high performing Science Department with experience in teaching Stage 6 Chemistry and/or Biology.

The successful candidate will:

  • support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
  • demonstrates expert understanding of curriculum requirements for various NESA Stage 4-6 Science and IDBP courses including assessment and reporting
  • be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams 
  • be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy
  • contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of Science policies and programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 5-12.

The ability to teach other subjects would be highly advantageous.

The College is seeking applications for a casual Kitchen Hand located at our Tallong Campus. The Kitchen Hand will assist the Head Cook in providing nutritious, high quality, well-presented food and beverage services to all guests visiting the campus. In conjunction with the Head Cook and the rest of the catering team, the Kitchen Hand helps to maintain and improve the Food Safety Program operating at the Campus.

Sports Coaches – ongoing

Santa Sabina College is seeking enthusiastic sports coaches for our sports program throughout the year.

Coaches are responsible for the coaching and supervision of students as part of the sports programs at Santa Sabina College, supporting the Director of Sports and Co-curricular Activities in the coaching and skill development of students. The sports program incorporates four key components: Saturday/midweek competitions, school sports clubs, representative sport and College sports carnivals. The sports coach will work in a team and report to the relevant Sports Department Administrator.

Outdoor Education Instructors – Tallong Campus – ongoing

Santa Sabina College Tallong Campus is seeking Cert III / Cert IV qualified outdoor education instructors for upcoming programs. The Tallong Campus is the Outdoor Education and Retreat Centre for Santa Sabina College Sydney. The programs that are run from Tallong are primarily centre based with overnight hikes / campouts which are run entirely on the schools 97 hectare site.
