Sydney Youth Orchestras

Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO) is celebrating 50 years as a premier orchestral training organisation. With 15 ensembles comprising over 550 young musicians aged 6 to 25, SYO delivers high-quality training and performs regularly at public venues and community events, including Carols in the Domain and Toddlers’ Proms.

SYO’s comprehensive program nurtures the next generation of Australia’s leading musicians, making a real difference to the lives of young musicians and the people they reach within the community. The organisation’s 50th-anniversary celebrations feature an exciting lineup of concerts, masterclasses, and special events, culminating in a gala concert featuring SYO alumni showcasing their exceptional talents.
