‘Journey’ follows the passage of St Dominic and his followers spreading the word across Europe, South America, Asia, Australia and the South Pacific is an 800 year story.
The commissioning of new music for this project gives special voice to the Dominican story. Composers Tim Hansen, Paul Jarman, Carlos Villanueva, Tony Wheeler, Mark Lewis and Luke Byrne have each told a different part of the story and have created for our students a very special journey of musical development and enlightenment, not to be missed.
For this one night only premiere Santa Sabina community will come together in song to celebrate and share with our Dominican friends throughout the world this remarkable journey and heritage.
