Videos for Change, developed by High Resolves and sponsored by Network 10 and Platypus, is a challenge for young filmmakers to create a one-minute video on a social issue they feel passionate about.
Bella Merlino of Year 9 won the Bonus Prize at the inspiring Videos for Change Summit in the Powerhouse Museum Sydney last night – the opportunity to work with TV producers on Network 10 to create a long-form version of her compelling video about dementia, Never Forgotten. The resulting video will be broadcast on national television before Christmas!
Bella is pictured with her teachers after receiving the award. Her award-winning video is dedicated to her grandfather.
