The poet Eileen Chong visited Year 10 English in February. She is a regular guest of the English department and her work is now prescribed for Extension 1 English. She’s a very engaging presenter and the girls greet her like a celebrity when she visits!
Ms Chong worked with this year group in Term 4 2018 on their English excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens and they are currently doing a close study of a selection of her poems. She continues to inspire them to read, appreciate and enjoy poetry.
