Community and music

As many as 120 students from Years 2 to 6 at Santa Sabina College performed in the IPSHA Performing Arts Festival at the Sydney Town Hall on Wednesday 15 August. The audience were delighted by the sounds of the Liturgy Ensemble, Advanced Trio, Primary Years Advanced Taiko Ensemble, Combined Band (Years 5 and 6 woodwind, brass and percussionists), Combined Choir (Siena Singers and Year 5), Views to Mount Solitary (Year 5 Orchestra, Year 6 Strings, String Beans) and Ratoh Duek – Indonesian Songs and Dances (Year 5).

We joined with six other independent schools in the Festival’s grand finale of combined choirs. The festival was a wonderful celebration of community and music.
