The Santa Sabina College Years 3 -11 Swimming Carnival was held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre surrounded by array of colour, enthusiasm and energy. For the first time all students had the opportunity to have touch pads record their times digitally and display them on the large scoreboard while also providing parents with the opportunity to read students times on the meet mobile app via mobile devices.
In addition, the World Class Swimming complex provided the perfect environment for a combination of pre entered competitive 50metre events as well as enter on the day fun 25 metre relays, novelties and individual events. Highlights included a large number of personal bests achieved by many students in the 50m competition pool, the awesome cheers and amazing house costumes displayed and the sense of community shown as our senior girls assisted many primary students to complete a lap in the 25m pool.
