Year 1 has had the privilege of participating in a Strings Boot Camp these past two weeks. This has been very successful with all of our Year 1 children participating in small group lessons with instrumental specialists for 25 minutes each day. Our Boot Camp experience culminated in a special celebration on Friday 24 October, where all of our performers joined together to share their newly developed skills with a most appreciative audience. The achievement of our learners is to be commended and we look forward to sharing our skills with our community at The College Music Awards on Wednesday 3 December. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful group of Instrumental specialists and Artistic Director Mrs Karen Carey for their dedication to the program and the positive and passionate manner in which they have engaged our instrumentalists!
