During the July holidays, I was given an amazing opportunity to attend Common Ground Dominican conference in Adelaide along with 5 other girls in Year 11. We had the opportunity to meet other students from other Dominican schools around Australia who are just like us.
We learnt a lot about others schools and initiatives that they have that are the same as Santa Sabina. However, we also had the opportunity to see things that were different in other schools and how we may implement those things into our school. We also had fantastic guest speakers that gave us an insight into the different places around the world in which there are Dominicans and how the values of our school are carried out in all different places around the world.
It was a unforgettable experience that I was lucky enough to take part in which I learnt a lot about our values, our Dominican heritage and how we can all walk in the foot steps of St Dominic.
