Year 7 girls were enchanted by the beautiful kimono’s our exchange students from Japan showed them. Six girls were chosen to try on the kimono’s by competing in ‘Scissors, paper, rock’ games (Jan ken pon). Kimie, one of the visiting students from Immaculate Heart College in Kagoshima belongs to their Kimono Club so she, along with Ms Kusumoto and Erina, our other visiting exchange student, was able to guide the Year 7 girls in how best to wear the kimono and model for a photo shoot.
