Year 6 students participated energetically in our Maker Day on Monday. The focus of the day was to provide the students with the opportunity to make, tinker and engineer with digital technologies. Students worked with soft circuits electronic textiles, “MaKey MaKey” hardware invention kits or software programming with Scratch or Turtle Art. Mrs Thomas and some of the students will be presenting at the International Conference on Creativity & Academic Excellence at Knox Grammar School about this innovative learning experience next week.
