5 excited students and their parents and teachers flew to Melbourne last week to receive their first place awards for the National Mathematics Talent Quest. Our students in Years 2, 3 and 5 were awarded with three first places for group projects. The competition brought together the winners of state and territory competitions recognising students’ work on extended mathematical projects.
Phoebe, Salina, Solange, Adam and Thomas, along with teachers Mrs McAulay and Ms Attard accepted the awards on behalf of their fellow students at the National Presentation ceremony held at La Trobe University.
