Our own star-crossed lovers from the Drama Ensemble have been rehearsing since Term 3 for the February 2013 production of Romeo & Juliet. The cast comprises 15 students from Years 10-12, with guest actors from St Patrick’s College and Trinity Grammar School. Following the success of A Midsummer Night’s Dream which was staged under the stars a few years ago, this production wil be set in the outdoors around St Dominic’s Plot, and guests will be invited to bring a picnic. Two Juliets will take to the stage, with the world of the play suggesting an era of professional sports rivalry in the Asian Century. The play will be performed over 3 nights, from Thursday 21-Saturday 23 February.
