Hannah Recognised for her Sporting Prowess

Congratulations to Hannah of Year 5 who received a Sydney Archdiocese Catholic Primary Schools Sports Council medallion in recognition of her sporting talent achievements in 2012. The following was said of Hannah as she came on stage to up to receive her award:
Hannah is an outstanding athlete. She has represented the school as an elite athlete across a range of sports, up to and including placement at National level. In addition to her significant sporting commitments, she successfully balances the role of School Leader for the Santa Sabina Primary School.Hannah has been a member of three NSW CPS MacKillop teams; Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. She has been placed first in many events, achieved 4th place at the School Sport Australia level and has set records in many of her races. Her commitment and dedication to her sports, which include Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country and representative teams have been exemplary, as is her passion and determination to achieve her personal best. Her leadership role in 2012 has been a successful one and she is highly respected by teachers and peers across the K-12 Santa Sabina community. Hannah continually displays the positive attributes of a leader and sports person and is an excellent role model to all students in sport and her everyday school life.
