Our youngest Public Speakers (Yrs 1-5) have been acknowledged and presented with trophies by Ms Clancy at a special Del Monte Assembly, while on the Secondary Campus the inaugural Debating and Public Speaking Dinner and presentation evening saw a team of Year 10 students debate their coaches on the topic ‘That truth is stranger than fiction.’ Parents, staff, debaters and public speakers celebrated a year of great success and enjoyment of our students’ abilities to develop and confidently argue a sustained response in the many competitions which have featured on the Debating and Public Speaking calendar in 2012.
