Santa Sabina for the first time has qualified through to the Championship Pool of the Australian U15’s Volleyball Championships.
Held in Albury, this is an annual tournament for State, Academy and Club Teams. Schools that have elite volleyball programs are also invited to participate.
Santa entered 2 teams in the competition.
Santa Black played well throughout the rounds losing only 1 game to the tournament favourites, finishing 2nd in their pool. This has now qualified them into the Championship round to play for a spot in the medal finals!
Santa White unfortunately did not progress to the championship round but will now playoff for their highest possible position of 7th.
This is a great result considering Santa is the only team from NSW in the girls tournament.
