The weather was perfect as the myriad of colours from the girls house costumes exploded onto the main oval for our annual athletics carnival.
This year we had a new event, it was team based, exciting and challenged the houses to work together like never before! The screams of excitement from Our Tug of War participants could be heard all the way down the Boulevarde with the battle royale on the field pitting year group houses against each other in test of strength, dexterity and determination.
The main oval hosted the 200m, 80m, hurdles and long jump with feats of athletic prowess displayed across the year groups culminating in our fastest young women competing in the 80m Senior and Middle School Championship sprint.
The day concluded with our house cheers with all houses determined to display a sense of pride in their house which as usual they all did brilliantly! From the scripted chant, the coloured pre-packaged house coloured lolly packets to the explosive acrobatic leap each member of their house proudly in their own small way shared their pride in their house.
