Community Concert

Last night, members of our Santa Sabina community and residents of Cardinal Freeman Village were captivated by 97 students in various music ensembles performing in a Community Concert at Cardinal Freeman Village Chapel. The concert was the first of many community events where our musicians are able to share our music with  the local community. The historic chapel has a beautiful acoustic and the girls were able to enjoy their music making in beautiful surroundings. The students were conducted by Karen Carey, Catherine Fluke, Mark Lewis, Sarah Feltham and Bernadette Bentley and they performed an impressive repertoire by composers including Handel, Albinoni, Tartini, Holst, Vivaldi, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and our own Mark Lewis.

The calibre and depth of the performances impressed the audience and the evening culminated in a standing ovation for our amazing musicians. The girls showed commitment and dedication to make this concert a real success and the College is very proud of their efforts.
