Beyond the Classroom: 43 Year 9 Students Discover New Strengths at the Inaugural Winter Academy
Our inaugural Winter Academy saw 43 Year 9 students make our Southern Highlands Campus, Tallong, their home for three weeks, embracing a unique experience that brought together academic learning, adventure, independence and connection.
From classroom lessons and collaborative projects to outdoor education and activities immersed in the natural environment, students stepped beyond the familiar, approached challenges in new ways and discovered new strengths.
More than simply taking school to a different setting, Winter Academy provided the space to strengthen friendships, build confidence and resilience, and experience learning beyond the traditional classroom.
