In an increasingly competitive careers market, students benefit enormously from tailored career initiatives that provide access to mentors, real world experiences and professional networks. These opportunities not only help young people explore future career pathways, they help open doors to future opportunities.
At our Career Women’s Network Breakfast, ex-student Rahni Sadler (Class of 1989) joined Paulina Skerman in conversation, captivating us with stories from her extensive career in journalism and international correspondence. From interviewing politicians and celebrities to reporting on the experiences of ordinary people living through extraordinary circumstances, Rahni shared both the realities and opportunities of a global media career.
Her message to students was clear: take every opportunity, stay curious, build strong relationships and never underestimate the power of networks and connections throughout your career journey.
Our students were also incredibly fortunate to have access to more than 75 mentors from our ex-student and parent community, who generously donated their time, expertise and insights to support the next generation of Santa Sabina women.
Thank you to our mentors and the Ex-Students’ Association for making opportunities like this possible.
