Overseas Tours

Students at Santa Sabina have the opportunity to explore new cultures, gain invaluable educational experiences and compete on international stages. Our program of enriching study tours and dynamic sporting engagements abroad enhances our students’ academic and athletic skills while also fostering personal growth and global awareness.

Music in Italy

The Santa Sabina College Italian Music Tour 2025 offered students an extraordinary opportunity to perform, learn and grow on the international stage. Travelling through Rome, Florence and Venice, students performed to standing ovations in historic and sacred venues, including leading music during Mass at St Peter’s Basilica and the Basilica di Santa Sabina. Alongside these performances, students participated in masterclasses with leading European musicians and visited sites of deep significance to the College’s Dominican heritage during the Jubilee Year. Throughout the tour, students demonstrated exceptional musical excellence, confidence and professionalism

Language in Italy

Students travel to Italy and immerse themselves in Italian language and culture, exploring historic cities including Venice, Florence, Siena, Assisi and Rome. The experience includes time spent at Liceo Linguistico James Joyce High School in Ariccia, providing an authentic insight into Italian education and daily life.

Sports in New Zealand

This experience offers students the opportunity to compete in Football and Netball against local schools, train alongside Olympians, and take part in adventure activities including white-water rafting in Rotorua, New Zealand.

Immersion in Vietnam

This immersion experience in southern Vietnam offers students a powerful opportunity to engage with history, culture and service in a meaningful way. Travelling between Ho Chi Minh City and the rural community of Vinh Long in the Mekong Delta, students explore significant historical and cultural sites, experience diverse natural environments and gain insight into daily life and local perspectives. The program includes hands-on service projects, such as the installation of solar lighting to support community safety, alongside opportunities to learn traditional crafts and agricultural practices. Through this experience, students develop global awareness, empathy and a deeper understanding of connection, service and shared humanity.
