Our Del Monte students benefit from a dynamic, specialist-led curriculum from the earliest years. Our holistic approach supports every aspect of a child’s development: cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual. Students enjoy dedicated classes in Italian, Digital Technology, Music, Art and PE. They can also access onsite Speech and Occupational Therapy support services.
Out of School Hours Care (OOSH) is available before and after school for all students.
Prep Program
Our Prep program offers a nurturing, play-based introduction to school life for girls and boys who turn four by 30 June in their Prep year. Children engage in rich, inquiry-based experiences that nurture early literacy, numeracy and global awareness.
There are three options for the Prep program with learning hours from 9:00am to 3:00pm:
2 days a week – Thursday and Friday
3 days a week – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
5 days a week – Monday to Friday
Out Of School Hours Care (OOSH) is available before and after school for all students.
Kindergarten to Year 4 Curriculum
In addition to core subjects, children engage in Italian, Music, Science, Literacy Appreciation, PE, Art and Digital Technologies – all taught by specialist teachers.

Instrumental
From Year 2, every child learns a musical instrument with ensemble performance opportunities beginning in Year 3.
Weekly Classes and Practical Instrumental Experiences
Weekly classes are provided by expert classroom teachers, offering our students rich opportunities for progression in performance, listening and composition.

Year 3 – Strings or recorder
Year 4 – Strings or recorder.
Our designated Maker Spaces, art studios and music classrooms bring creative, hands-on learning to life, supporting both classroom learning and individual tuition.
