Scholarships and Bursaries

Santa Sabina College promotes a love of learning, the pursuit of academic excellence, education for justice and the development of leadership.  The provision of scholarships and bursaries aims to provide education at Santa Sabina College to some students who might not otherwise have this opportunity.

2013 Scholarships are now closed

Please note that any student who is offered a scholarship will be required to pay a deposit equivalent to half the Acceptance Fee at the time. Currently this deposit amounts to $1100. The deposit will be refunded to the student's school account at the end of the first Semester of attendance. The deposit applies to all Scholarships but not to Bursaries.

Ex-Students' Bursary Fund

The Trustees of the Dominican Ex-Students’ Bursary Fund invite applications for part bursaries, to assist temporarily with tuition fees (Years 7–12) at Santa Sabina College in 2013.

Bursaries are tenable in the following categories:
(i)       to daughters of Dominican Ex-Students,
(ii)      to students with a close relative who is a Dominican Ex-Student,
(iii)     to current Dominican students whose family finds themselves in financial difficulty.

The award is non-competitive and is made on the basis of need. Applications are considered and bursars chosen by the Congregational Leader or her nominee; all such information is strictly confidential.

Bursaries awarded are limited to one per family.
