Location and Transport

Santa Sabina College is centrally located in the inner west of Sydney, approximately 20 minutes from the CBD of Sydney.

Our students commute from a diversity of locations. In addition to those who travel from the local area and inner city, there are students who travel from the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Liverpool and Campbelltown, the Sutherland Shire, Parramatta, the Hills and Northern Districts.

Trains

Strathfield Station is a major interchange on the City Rail Network.
Trains from the Southern, Northern, Inner West, Central Coast, Western and North Shore lines converge at Strathfield Station.

Santa Sabina College is a 5 minute walk from Strathfield Station; it is a 10 minute walk from Burwood.

Buses

Strathfield is well serviced by an extensive network of government and private bus services from all areas of Sydney.

School Specials service the College from the Drummoyne/Five Dock area (618 and 619) and from Earlwood (615).Veolia buses which have been arranged by MLC provide for students from Caringbah. The Veolia/MLC service from Sutherland is promised for reinstatement from Term 2, 2008.

Free Travel

The NSW Department of Transport determines the guidelines for the free school travel program.

Applications for Government bus and train and private bus passes for travel to and from Santa Sabina College are available at Student Services on the Secondary Campus, or from the Middle School or Del Monte Offices.

Students complete Application Forms for Transport Passes on Orientation Day. This ensures that passes are available for the students at the commencement of the school year.
