Santa Sabina College is actively engaged in innovative curriculum development, policies and practices that are consistent and coherent from K-12.

The College Curriculum Committee oversees the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of major curriculum, assessment and reporting within the whole College. 

There is emphasis on curriculum continuity for the students as learners throughout their years at the College, and on staff consultation at critical transition points.   K-12 staff meetings are held on a regular basis to promote professional development and shared understanding of the needs of our learners.

Recent work of the  K-12 Curriculum Committee has seen the development of:

  • The K-12 Literacy Plan
  • The K-12 Numeracy Plan
  • The K-12 Assessment and Reporting Policy
  • The K-12 Gifted and Talented Education Policy
  • Electronic tracking of student progress and records
