Celebrations Overview

Each year there are many opportunities for students and staff, parents, ex-students and former parents to come together to enjoy each other’s company, build community spirit, remember our story and celebrate together.

  • Within our Catholic tradition important days are marked by the celebration of Mass offered for the community and followed by hospitality.
  • The times of transition are recognized; the farewell of Year 4 boys and Year 5 girls; the final Awards Assembly for Year 12, and the Year 12 Graduation.  For is it is important to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of our students.
  • Celebrating individual excellence is a feature of a special Assembly for High Achievers to recognise the achievements of the HSC cohort of the previous year.
  • An observer might say that the best celebrations bring together the different generations. Grandparents’ Day and the  Kindergarten Christmas Concert are a delight to witness.
  • The end of the year is marked by numerous celebrations, particularly because Advent is the period when we prepare for the birth of the Saviour; the Christmas Carol event in the College Chapel is a much anticipated evening of celebration.
