Middle School

Middle School building

The Martin de Porres Campus houses the Middle School, for students in Years 6 and 7.
It has been a very innovative and successful part of the College since its establishment in 2001.

The support of students in the stage of early adolescence and their transition from Primary to Secondary school has been an outstanding aspect of this holistic approach to education. The caring and supportive Christian faith community ensures that both the pastoral and academic aspects of the personal development of every student are the priority.

Students have a unique opportunity to:

  • Develop skills in the areas of Thinking, Research, Problem Solving, Task Management, Communication, Technology, and Human Movement.
  • Embrace a challenging curriculum that offers differentiation to every student so they can enhance their individual learning opportunities.
  • Access ongoing pastoral care which promotes the building of relationships with both staff and students within the Middle School and the wider Santa Sabina community.
  • Engage in a wide range of co-curricular activities.
  • Experience a dynamic and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in the Middle School Leadership Program.

Middle Schooling addresses the specific needs of students at this particular stage of development and sets them on a positive and successful path for lifelong learning.
