Chaplaincy at Santa Sabina College seeks to foster a holistic approach towards nurturing the dignity, value and worth of the human person within our Christian faith community.
As a Catholic school the College recognises that each member of our community is on
an individual faith journey.
Acknowledging that this journey may comprise both moments of joyous celebration
and moments of suffering, grief and loss, the role and presence of the Chaplain within the College is
significant.
Fr John Gibson OH, a member of the Religious Congregation of St John of God, has been the Secondary School Chaplain for the past 20 years.
The Primary Campus celebrates the Liturgical Year and other significant times with liturgies and prayer times. Visiting local priests are invited to regularly preside at Mass and at the Rite of Reconciliation in the Primary School Chapel.
The Primary School Campus supports local Parish Sacramental Programmes by communicating information about the preparation to parents in the College newsletter.
