MRS SHARON PORTLOCK

Position: Head of School (Years P-5)

Qualifications: MEd Lead, BEd (Primary), DipT

Future vision: To ensure a student centred rigorous curriculum where the students are known as learners and the experiences motivate students to strive for growth and success.

 

Mrs Jackie Baxter

Position: Director Mary Bailey House Early Learning Centre

Qualifications: Cert IV Workplace Training Category 2, Cert (Child Care Studies) BTeach (ECE) GDip Psych, GDip Psych Studies

Future vision: In 2016 I expect that Mary Bailey House will be successful in retaining the rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standard. I anticipate that the MBH working groups (Literacy and Numeracy, Yarnin Circle, Education for Sustainability, Educational Leaders and Media and Technology) will continue to consolidate and achieve their annual goals. I look forward to seeing the results of the project review and how it will enhance collaboration between children and educators and deepen inquiry.

 

MRS Carmelina Eussen

Position: Head of School (Years 6-12)
Qualifications: M Ed Lead, M Ed RE (Theology), BEd, Dip Teach

Future Vision: It is part of our mission in Catholic Education to ensure all are included and made to feel welcome and supported. As Head  of School my goal would be to ensure that as a school community we move forward to ensure excellence for our students through faith, empowerment and contemporary learning.

MRS LYNN LONG

Position: Head of Pastoral Care 6-12

Qualifications: BEd, Cert II Bus, Cert IV Training & Assessment, presently completing MEd Student Wellbeing.

Future vision: To provide a nurturing educational environment where positive relationships are developed and where each student is known and cared for as an individual. This will encourage all students to strive to achieve personal excellence and to have the confidence and the courage to take on new challenges whilst living the Dominican values.

Position: Head of Teaching & Learning 6-12

Qualifications:  MEd Lead, MEd, (Computers in Education),  BEd

Future vision: To foster an intellectually dynamic and innovative learning culture for both students and teachers in order to achieve personal excellence.
